Coach Susan Morris

Susan Morris served as the founder and the director of the club Alpha and Omega Volleyball Club (AOVC) that operated out of Lugoff, South Carolina.  Known as one of the best veteran coaches and directors in the state, Susan brought the small town of Lugoff great success.  After only four years in operation, the AOVC 12 Black team garnered the 2009 Palmetto Region Championship. As a result, AOVC was recognized by a Concurrent Resolution of the South Carolina General Assembly in April 2009.  The club, coach, and players were commended for being the first Kershaw county team to win a berth to USA Junior Nationals.  The AOVC club handed out the first defeat in the 12's division to a Spartanburg club that was more than quadruple the size.  In addition to operating a very successful club, Susan also served as the head coach of Lugoff-Elgin High School where she ran a high caliber high school program.  Many of Susan's players have gone on to play at the collegiate level.  Susan is a strong asset to players she coaches at SC Midlands.
