Coach Katie Ham

Currently the varsity volleyball coach at Lugoff-Elgin High School, Katie Ham is well-respected for her knowledge of the game, as well as the relationships that she develops with players.  Ham has coached club volleyball, varsity and junior varsity volleyball, as well as basketball and softball.  Katie Ham studied Physical Education at the University of South Carolina.  Also serving as the University of South Carolina's Intramural Softball and Volleyball coordinator, Ham was also the Vice-President of the Physical Education Club.  Katie Ham earned the University of South Carolina's Most Outstanding teaching award in 2011.  This is an annual award given to the Physical Education senior student at the top of his/her class. This award is given to the student with the highest GPA, one who shows the best qualities of a physical educator, and one who is enthusiastic about their degree.
